It is possible to visit the waterwheels at the river Regnitz anytime throughout the season without appointment. Some are located next to the street at the village of Möhrendorf, others may be reached during a pleasant walk alongside the river. The village itself is located north of the city of Erlangen and has an own exit of the A73 Autobahn (the »Frankenschnellweg«).
